Do I have to remove paint first? Or is this a paintless dent remover?

This product is not a painless dent remover. A small hole is needed and then appropriate tool needed to remove the dent. After the hole can then be filled and area re-painted. If you google how to use a dent slide hammer there are several articles or youtube videos on this. If you are trying to remove a small dent and you do not have the experience needed to use the sliding hammer dent puller we would recommend trying the single suction dent puller.

Does this dent puller leave a hole?

This item comes with many different attachments for different jobs. If using on the flat surface such as pulling a dent in the centre of a car door then you will need to use an attachment which will leave a hole. If using this tool with the U-attachment and hooking it onto a part of the sub-frame then it will not leave a hole.
